Overview

Although Sri Lanka is about half the size of England, the experiences and things to do are endless. Even with below 15-day holiday plan you cannot fully cover the island. Its length from north to south is 435km (271 miles) and its greatest width is 240km (149 mils. A stretch of water 48km (30 miles) wide known as the Palk strait, separates the island from India.Β  08 major cities will be covered from below itinerary with sightseeing and excursions such as cultural heritage, wild life game drives, Sri Lankan food, hiking, beach relaxation etc.Β

Airport – Negombo

β€œWarm welcome” On arrival and you will be blessed to get your first taste of warm Sri Lankan hospitality from one of our representatives at the Bandaranayake international Airport.

  • Pick up from the Airport
  • Proceed to Negombo (approximately 10km distance and 15-minute drive)
  • Stay relaxed on your first night at your hotel after a tedious flight
  • Overnight stay in Negombo

Negombo – Kegalle - Sigiriya

  • Early breakfast in the morning and proceed to Kegalle (approximately 80km distance and 02 Β½ -hour drive)
  • Visit Millennium Elephant foundation and spend a half a day with gentle giants
  • Proceed to Sigiriya the city of culture, wildlife and soft adventures (approximately 105 km distance and 03Β½ -hour drive)
  • Stay relaxed after some travelling
  • Overnight stay in Sigiriya

  • After an early Breakfast climb Sigiriya rock fortress in the morning
  • In the afternoon proceed to do an evening safari in Minneriya national park. (Approximately 20km distance from Sigiriya and 30-minute drive)
  • Participate in a wild game drive at world renown Minneriya national park
  • Back to hotel and overnight stay in Sigiriya

  • After breakfast proceed to sacred city Anuradhapura. (Approximately 80km distance from Sigiriya and 2- hour drive)

  • Breakfast at hotel and proceed to Kandy city ((approximately 88 km distance and 02 Β½ -hour drive)
  • Visit a spice garden on the way

  • Do the Kandy city tour with city view point and local markets
  • Optional visit to Bahirawakanda temple

  • Proceed to do the Ella rock trail with an expert trekker

Ella – Yala

  • Relax in the mountains In Ella after breakfast. You got wild life safaris up next
  • Proceed to Yala from Ella (Approximately 110km and 03- hour drive)
  • Do an afternoon safari in Yala national park.(Starting time 02.30 pm from the entrance to around 06 pm in the evening. A small snack will be provided during the safari for you)

  • Do a morning safari game drive in Yala national park. (Packed breakfast will be given from hotel)
  • Checkout from hotel and proceed to Tangalle. (Approximately 90km and 02- hour drive)
  • Overnight stay in Tangalle beach

Tangalle

No more sight exploring and adventures. After a long journey through inland, have a good rest by the stunning Tangalle beach. Have an Ayurvedic spa treatments and visit a Turtle hatchery is preferred. During this time, you may advise us to keep the vehicle and the driver with you at your disposal or send him off until your checkout day.

  • After breakfast at the resort, Proceed to Colombo. (Approximately 185 km and 03 Β½ - hour drive)
  • Get ready for an enjoyable Tuk tuk ride through Colombo city

  • After Breakfast Proceed to do a bit of shopping in Colombo city (only if time permit)
  • Proceed to Airport for your departure (approximately 35 km distance and 01 -hour drive)
